The October Boscastle Festival of ‘Real Food’, Arts & Crafts and the April Boscastle Walking Week are hosted here. This beautiful location is also used for filming productions such as Doc Martin and Saving Grace

Local culture is founded on a heritage of fishing, sailing, farming or quarrying where long standing traditions have been passed down through the generations.

The National Trust manages much of the landscape. Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with Conservation Orders and Sites of Specific Scientific Interest, the blossoming tourism industry has been sensitively developed. Sustainability is, and always has been, a way of life here.
